Tour Duchenne 2012
Each year a bunch of ordinary people put themselves through extraordinary physical strain as they take part in the Tour Duchenne and ride for kids who can’t. Not only this, they also raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Australia. This year, riders will aim to raise$5,000 each which will make an enormous difference to the lives of people living with a neuromuscular condition.
On Sunday 16 September 2012, Tour Duchenne riders will depart from Summit (Thredbo) and roll down to the Sea (Manly).
The 796km ride will challenge even the most experienced riders with over 40 climbsincluding Mt Canobolas and Mt Panorama. Detailed rider maps are here.
